Elon Musk blasts ‘Jeopardy!’ champ Ken Jennings for arrest joke

I’ll take “Twitter Feuds” for $2,000, Alex.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk on Tuesday called greatest-of-all-time “Jeopardy!” champion Ken Jennings a “knucklehead” for joking about him being arrested on the Tesla factory floor.

Jennings’ quip came after Musk announced on Monday afternoon that Tesla would be reopening its Fremont, Calif., factory against stay-at-home orders that require it to remain closed. Musk asked that if law enforcement was planning on arresting any Tesla workers, that they arrest him instead.

“Can’t believe I’m actually agreeing with Elon Musk, but he is absolutely correct: please arrest Elon Musk,” Jennings tweeted, adding a screenshot of Musk’s original tweet.

The Tesla CEO responded with a jab about Jennings’ 2011 performance in “Jeopardy!’s” man-vs.-machine tournament, where he was soundly defeated by IBM supercomputer Watson.

“All other car companies are allowed to manufacture *except* Tesla, you knucklehead,” Musk wrote. “No wonder you got crushed by a computer the size of a pizza box.”

The status of Tesla’s Fremont factory has been a sensitive subject for Musk, who in recent weeks has compared the lockdown to “fascism.”
