Johnny Manziel falls off rocks in scary cliff-diving video

This isn’t exactly a leap of faith.

Johnny Manziel shared a new clip Monday from a cliff jumping experience, in which the former Browns quarterback slipped before falling into the water below.

“Flawless execution,” Manziel captioned the Instagram clip, geotagging the Lake Pleasant Regional Park, located near Phoenix, Arizona.

While the 27-year-old made it out unscathed, some of his followers, including former Giants receiver Victor Cruz, were left shaken by the video.

“Got spooky for a second,” Cruz replied.

johnny backflip,” former punter Brad Wing replied.

Model Bianca Ghezzi also chimed in, “Jesus JM don’t break your neck.”

Manziel’s social media has remained relatively tame in recent months during the coronavirus pandemic. In March, he encouraged fans to adhere to social-distancing guidelines, even poking fun at his storied past.

“If I can stay out of the club, anyone can quarantine,” he said at the time.

The 22nd overall pick in the 2014 draft, Manziel flamed out of the NFL two years later amid personal struggles, including his battle with substance abuse.

In 2018, Manziel opened up about being diagnosed as bipolar, the same year he attempted to revive his football career with the CFL. He also participated in the now-defunct Alliance of American Football league last year.
