The Los Angeles Rams are reportedly a “little irritated” with how their 2020 NFL matchup with the Patriots panned out.
According to the Boston Sports Journal, the Rams feel like they’ll be losing the advantages that usually come with hosting a Thursday night game in that Week 14 contest. The Rams are scheduled to be traveling back from Arizona following a Week 13 matchup with the Cardinals, while the Patriots will already be in Los Angeles.
The Patriots are scheduled to face the Chargers in Week 13, meaning they won’t have to do any traveling in the days leading up to the Thursday night matchup with the Rams. Additionally, with the Chargers and Rams set to share a brand new stadium in Inglewood, Calif. for the 2020 season, New England will have already played on the Rams’ home field.
Since the return of Thursday Night Football in 2006, no team has flown two or more time zones west and managed to win a game in 11 tries.
