For-hire car services like Uber and Lyft will be banned for four and a half hours Tuesday night as part of the city’s attempt to crack down on days of civil unrest, The Post has learned.
The city-ordered ban will be begin at 8 p.m. — the same time as the city-wide curfew — and last until 12:30 a.m., sources said.
Yellow taxis are excluded from the ban, sources said.
Citi Bike and Revel scooter share will also shut down at 8 p.m., those companies said.
The city’s Taxi and Limousine Commission confirmed the app shutdown shortly after it was reported by The Post.
