The Mets’ complex in Port St. Lucie, Fla., is open for business again, even as players remain unsure when and if a season will begin.
“Good day today back to work,” catcher Wilson Ramos posted on Instagram, underneath an image of himself in the team’s weight room.
According to a team spokesman, the facility opened Monday and is available for players who reside in the area. Ramos, Brandon Nimmo and Michael Conforto are among the players with residences within a short drive of Clover Park.
The complex had been closed since late March, following the suspension of spring training due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Players using the facility must follow social distancing guidelines.
