A pair of teens fatally stabbed a 51-year-old woman and tried to hide her body at the bottom of a New Jersey creek, police said Monday.
The woman’s body was found around 2 a.m. Monday in Overpeck Park in Bergen County, according to authorities.
The teens allegedly stabbed the woman in her Cresskill, NJ, home and went to the park, where they wrapped her body up and weighted it in an attempt to “hide the crime” by leaving her remains at the bottom of the creek, police said.
Cops did not say when they believe the woman was killed or what connection, if any, the two had to her.
The 19-year-old man and 14-year-old juvenile — both of whose names were not released — were taken into custody but were not yet charged.
