Family has hilarious freakout over cows at drive-thru zoo
They’re having a cow.
A North Carolina family is going viral over their hilarious reaction to getting “accosted” by cattle at a drive-thru zoo, as seen in a wild video.
In the chaotic clip, captured by Chasity Sowell on June 10, Sowell’s mother and nephews can be seen hollering and crying as curious cows approach their car at the Zootastic Park in Iredell County.
“Everybody say shoo,” Sowell’s mother shouts desperately as one of the gregarious animals pokes its face through the vehicle window. At one point, her nephew pukes into his palm – allegedly due to the steers’ stench — while the videographer sobs uncontrollably in a moment reminiscent of the T-Rex-avoiding teens in the Jeep scene from “Jurassic Park.”
Sowell later told Storyful that she was actually crying from laughter at her family’s ridiculous response to a bunch of cows.
Despite the uproarious overreaction, Sowell maintained that she loves animals and even owns a pet goat and a pig. However, she plans to take the family to an aquarium next time to prevent future too-close encounters of the herd kind.
Although, Sowell joked, they might be scared of the fish, too.
