Model Summer Rayne Oakes — best known for having some 1,100 plants in her Williamsburg apartment — designed a plant-filled model residence at new Crown Heights condo 111 Montgomery that is now on the market for $499,000.
The 447-square-foot studio unit features fun pieces from Anthropologie Home and CB2, local artists and houseplants to create a Zen space with, said Oakes, “a real soul” to help anyone cope with the health concerns and job insecurities that have come along with the pandemic.
Details include a dream journal on the bedside table. Oaks runs Homestead Brooklyn, an organization that offers plant tips and education.
111 Montgomery, next to Prospect Park, overlooks the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens; buyers in the building get a free membership.
