Biden strode into St. Joseph on the Brandywine shortly after the start of the 10:30 a.m. Mass, arriving late as usual to minimize the disruption from his Secret Service team.
Biden — set to become the country’s second Catholic president — also visited the cemetery where family members including Beau, first wife Neilia and daughter Naomi are buried, according to Fox News.
He was accompanied by his daughter, Ashley, and grandson, Hunter, the son of Biden’s late son Beau.
One day after a raucous victory rally, Biden was enjoying a lazy Sunday, with no other events on his public schedule.
