Gunman opens fire on Manhattan street, wounding one
A gunman opened fire multiple times on a Lower East Side street late on Black Friday, wounding another man, video released early Tuesday shows.
The shooter stepped out of the passenger seat of a light-colored Nissan Altima and repeatedly fired a handgun on Henry Street near Scammel Street around 11:45 p.m., the clip shows.
A 32-year-old man was struck in the ankle and taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan by private means, cops said.
It was unclear whether he was the intended target, and the motive was unknown.
The shooter bolted on foot, and the Nissan driver took off, the clip shows.
The suspect is shown in a surveillance image wearing a dark-colored, patterned Nike hoodie, black pants and sneakers.
