How to watch Sunday’s 2021 NFL Wild-Card playoff games

The NFL playoff field has already been narrowed, and it’ll be an even smaller crowd after the second half of Wild Card Weekend.

Sunday’s slate brings three more games for fans’ viewing pleasure: Ravens-Titans, Bears-Saints, and Browns-Steelers will close out the opening round of the NFL postseason.

Here’s how to watch all three games and not miss a minute of the action.

Breaking down the game

Are you ready to rush? The NFL’s top-two ground teams will clash in the first AFC wild card games of the day. The Ravens will be looking for revenge after being ousted by Tennessee in last year’s playoffs. They’ll have to find a way to stop 2,000-yard rusher Derrick Henry, who’s run for 328 yards in the last two meetings between the teams.

Baltimore’s top-ranked rush features a trio of stout runners in Mark Ingram, J.K. Dobbins, and Gus Edwards. The Titans will have also to be on the lookout for the elusive Lamar Jackson, the reigning NFL MVP.

Breaking down the game:

The Saints have a few question marks coming into the opening round of the postseason, with stars Alvin Kamara (COVID-19) and Michael Thomas (ankle) hoping to rejoin forces with QB Drew Brees. If all healthy, they form one of the NFL’s most formidable offensive trios and are sure to give the Bears’ defense fits. As if that weren’t enough to worry about, Chicago’s offense runs through fourth-year QB Mitch Trubisky, riding a wave of confidence despite having a season of ups and very low downs.

Cleveland Browns (11-5) at Pittsburgh Steelers (12-4)

When is the game?

The game begins at 8:15 p.m. ET

Where will it be played?

The teams will face off at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh

How can I watch?

The game will be broadcast nationally on NBC and can be streamed online.

The Browns’ return to the playoffs — their first berth since 2002 — will go through Pittsburgh in a rematch of Cleveland’s Week 17 win. There is no love lost between the teams after 2019’s helmet-swinging brawl. Both teams claim the incident is behind them, but only one team will be moving forward. Cleveland will be without coach Kevin Stefanski, leaving QB Baker Mayfield to deal with Pittsburgh’s top-notch blitz and pass defense. That likely means work for RB Nick Chubb. For the Steelers, wideouts JuJu Smith-Schuster, Diontae Johnson, and rookie revelation Chase Claypool can rack up plenty of yards — and will be looking to shake off a lackluster 1-4 finish to the season.
