‘Real Housewives’ star Teresa Giudice cuts price of NJ mansion to $2.25M

She’s ready to leave the past behind: Hoping to entice a buyer, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice has cut the price of her New Jersey mansion from $2.5 million to just under $2.25 million.

The “RHONJ” star’s six-bedroom, five-and-a-half bathroom mansion spans 10,000 square feet and sits on 3.7 acres in northern NJ, according to the listing. The price cut comes as the divorcée moves on from her two-decade-long marriage, sharing pictures with her new boyfriend, Digital Media Solutions co-founder Luis Ruelas, 46, on Instagram.

The inside of the front door has sculpted wings as handles, opening onto a black marble floor and a two-story foyer with a Cinderella staircase, a grand chandelier and vaulted ceilings, listing photos show.

The stone and stucco house has a formal dining room with a hand-carved fireplace, a two-story great room with a wood-burning fireplace, a wine cellar and an office. Classic Italian touches are prevalent throughout the house — for instance, one bathroom is inscribed “bagno,” which means “bathroom” in Italian.

The huge owner’s suite has high vaulted ceilings, a fireplace, dressing area, three walk-in closets and an opulent bathroom with onyx tiles and Greek pillars, according to Realtor.com.

As is fitting for the author of hit cookbook “Fabulicious!” Giudice’s kitchen is decked out with stainless steel appliances and a butler’s pantry. It has marble countertops, detailed crown molding, white cabinetry, a wine cooler, a farmhouse sink and dual stovetops and ovens. Attached is a second dining room with spiral pillars against the windows.

The yard has a covered patio, a newly added heated pool and a terraced landscape, according to a previous report by Realtor.com.

Giudice, 48, and her ex-husband Joe Giudice, 48, raised their four kids in the home until 2015, when the couple was convicted and ultimately jailed for bankruptcy fraud, conspiracy to commit mail fraud, wire fraud and failing to pay taxes. Joe has been deported to Italy, causing the couple to call it quits and finalize their divorce, Page Six previously reported.

The now-split couple bought the property for $530,000 in 2002 and custom built the house, which was completed in 2008. Teresa renovated the home in July 2020, tossing her ex’s dark decor preferences, which included heavy drapes, dark colors and old-fashioned furniture, according to E! — but apparently, it wasn’t enough to rid her of the memories, and she listed the house for sale in September 2020.

“[Teresa] was like, ‘My house needs a lot of work, it’s dark, it’s filled with old Italian stuff, Joe is gone … I need to feel lighter in this house.’ It’s a huge house, everything was doom and gloom and dark, and she had memories of a lot of stuff and she just wanted to brighten it up,” interior designer Jimmy DeLaurentis told E. She has also said that the house “is a lot to upkeep.”

The next season of “RHONJ” starts next month on Feb. 17 and will feature Giudice’s journey to sell her house and “create a new life” for herself and her four daughters, Gia, 19, Gabriella, 16, Milania, 15, and Audriana, 11, according to Bravo

It is unclear whether Giudice, whose net worth is rumored to be $11 million, is shopping for a new house or whether she will move in with her boyfriend, who lives in Allendale, NJ, a half-hour north from her old digs.

Giudice first teased fans with this Instagram post in December. Since then, she has posted several pictures with her new beau.

Listing agent Joshua Baris of Coldwell Banker Realty in Fort Lee, NJ, and a Giudice representative did not respond to The Post’s requests for comment.
