Louise Linton, the wife of former Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin, will star as a psychotic hedge fund manager and serial killer in a new flick that she also wrote and directed.
“Me You Madness” tells the deliciously wicked tale about a beautiful, ruthlessly ambitious, intelligent, and successful businesswoman,” reads an official movie synopsis.
Catherine Black, played by Linton, 40, “lives a life of luxury having an architectural dream house in Malibu, exclusive designer fashions, fast cars, and exquisite jewelry. She has no need for a man except to satisfy her natural serial killer instinct, literally.”
Her fiendish plans, however, get derailed after she falls for one of her planned victims, played by Ed Westwick.
A trailer for the flick released on YouTube features many shots of Linton brandishing a knife.
Linton, an actress who originally hails from Scotland, has become a minor star of US thrillers, with roles in “Cabin Fever” and “Intruder.”
Before her husband became a US cabinet member, he worked in finance and Hollywood and is remembered for serving as executive producer of the widely-maligned Joker spinoff “Suicide Squad.”
Linton herself became something of a celebrity during her husband’s time in office, the star of amusing memes.
