Woman critically hurt, man wounded in separate NYC shootings overnight

A woman was critically hurt and a man injured in a pair of  unrelated shootings in Brooklyn early Saturday, police said.

The 37-year unidentified woman was shot in the back at the corner of Marion Street and Rockaway Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant shortly before 4:30 a.m., cops said.

EMS rushed her to Brookdale Hospital in critical condition, and cops are looking for one or two men who might have fled the scene in a black sedan, according to the NYPD.

It’s unclear what sparked the gunfire, authorities said.

Less than an hour later, a man walked into Kings County Hospital and with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

The victim, 39, who said he was shot at the corner of Utica and Snyder avenues in East Flatbush, was in stable condition, police said.
