Man climbs to second floor of Bronx home before group ransacks bedroom: video
A crook was caught on video climbing up to the second-floor awning of a Bronx home to open a window before he and four others ransacked a couple’s bedroom at gunpoint, cops said.
The suspect hoisted himself up to the second floor of a home at Barnes Avenue and Van Nest Avenue, with the help of his pals, around 10:10 p.m. Monday, cops said.
Then he opened the door for his accomplices, police said.
Once inside, one of the men pulled a handgun and all five confronted a couple — a 46-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman — in their bedroom, authorities said.
They pilfered through the bedroom and made off with $120 in cash, cops said.
The group took off on Barnes Avenue inside a gray four-door sedan, and police are still hunting for them.
