Yankees outfielder Clint Frazier is struggling on the field, but not in his relationship.
The 26-year-old and girlfriend Kaylee Gambadoro celebrated their one-year anniversary last week with separate posts on social media. Frazier shared a video collage of moments throughout the couple’s relationship.
“One year of loving you. I couldn’t ask for anything better than what we have, scoop,” he wrote on Instagram, adding, “marriage awaits us.” Frazier, in February, shared on Instagram that he wants to marry Gambadoro.
The couple appeared to celebrate the relationship milestone with a sunset wine toast, according to a photo Gambadoro posted to Twitter.
Frazier, who recently changed his batting stance to help his struggles at the plate, is hitting .150 after Monday night’s 0-for-3 in the Yankees’ 5-2 loss to the Rangers.
“It’s a matter of getting the swagger back in the box I’m used to and having a few fall,’’ Frazier said Saturday. “You can’t let swagger be created just because of success. When you’re going good, it’s easy to walk around on top of the world.
“Once you’re at the bottom point, you have to maintain that swagger, confidence and ability to turn the page. It’s frustrating. I had a really good [season] last year and I went into spring training and it didn’t click again.”
