Florida woman still thinks she saw dinosaur in backyard video
A Florida woman is doubling down on her wild claim that she saw a baby dinosaur running through her backyard.
Two months ago, Cristina Ryan’s security camera caught a tailed species running on its hind legs through her property. Although only seconds long, the middle-of-the-night viral video still has heads spinning.
“There has never been an answer to what it was. Even despite asking neighbors. We are all still convinced it’s a dinosaur!” Palm Coast resident Ryan, who spotted the thought-to-be-extinct creature in April, told Fox 35.
When she first captured the footage, Ryan immediately jumped to prehistoric conclusions.
“Any animal we can come up with that would be ‘walking’ at 3:40 in the morning, wouldn’t walk this way,” Ryan told the Orlando outlet shortly after spotting the animal. “Maybe I’ve watched ‘Jurassic Park’ too many times — but I see a raptor or other small dinosaur.”
Commenters on the video had more realistic explanations, citing Komodo dragons or other large lizards. “Some say a large bird, but that makes no sense — since whatever it is appears to have front legs. So not sure?” said Ryan.
But she maintains her Mesozoic suspicion.
“I’m sticking with raptor myself.”
