A 17-year-old boy was fatally shot on a Queens street on Wednesday afternoon, police said.
Eduardo Hernandez was shot twice in the torso by a male suspect on 40th Road near Warren Street in Elmhurst at about 4:25 p.m., according to police and sources.
The suspect fled northbound on 40th Road in a black sedan, sources said.
Hernandez was taken to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
No arrests were made as of early Thursday.
