A 4-month-old girl died of grave head injuries in Brooklyn — and her mother’s boyfriend has been hit with multiple charges, cops said Tuesday.
Ricardo Price, 23, was watching little Royalty Kemp inside a Roosevelt Houses apartment on Lewis Avenue near Pulaski Street in Bushwick on June 21 as he played video games, police said.
As the infant lay on his lap, Price repeatedly shook his leg to get her to quiet down — causing the baby to bounce off his knee numerous times, police said.
The baby suffered severe head trauma — but the couple did not bring her to Woodhull Medical Center until two days later, authorities said.
Royalty was transferred to Bellevue Hospital, where she died on July 1, cops said.
Price was charged with attempted murder, three counts of assault, reckless assault on a child and acting in a manner injurious to a child, authorities said.
The district attorney’s office will determine whether his charges will be upgraded, police said.
