Jets training camp this summer will feature eight open practices at the team’s training facility in Florham Park, including two joint sessions with the Eagles that also will be open to the public.
The first of the open practices will be July 31, part of the NFL’s “Back to Football’’ festivities. Jets fans will also be able to watch their team in person — for the first time since 2019 — at MetLife Stadium in the annual Green & White scrimmage the night of Aug. 7. There will be a fireworks show after the scrimmage.
The Jets will engage in their first joint practice of the summer when they head to Green Bay for two days of workouts (Aug. 18-19) with the Packers ahead of their Aug. 21 preseason game at Lambeau Field. First-year Jets coach Robert Saleh has a history with Packers coach Matt LaFleur dating to 2004, when they were graduate assistants and roommates at Central Michigan.
The next week, the Eagles will practice twice with the Jets in New Jersey in advance of their Aug. 27 preseason finale.
Jets camp will also feature Jets Fest, live music and appearances from franchise legends on select days. All practices are free of charge. No autographs or photographs with players will be allowed this year due to COVID-19 protocols put in place by the NFL and the Players Association.
