A New Jersey man has been busted in the Bronx in connection with the slaying of his co-worker, police said Tuesday.
Milan Ghimire was arrested Tuesday morning by the NYPD’s Emergency Services Unit in the Bronx, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
The 23-year-old is accused of gunning down his colleague, 56-year-old Phu Tsewang, in Mahwah just before 9:45 p.m. Monday, cops said.
The two shared a rented home with others on Avenue A between Route 202 and Route 17, according to the Daily Voice.
Cops discovered Tsewang’s body while responding to a call from another resident, the outlet reported.
Police were expected to release additional information later in the day.
“An investigation is being conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Mahwah Police Department under the direction of Chief Stephen Jaffe,” the agency said in a release.
