‘Respect’ star Marlon Wayans: ‘White Chicks 2’ is necessary right now

Marlon Wayans is ready to step back into high-heeled shoes, blond wigs and Juicy Couture tracksuits for a “White Chicks” sequel.

The comedian and member of the legendary Hollywood comedy family, revealed that he wants to do a sequel to his hit 2004 film.

Wayans, 49, and his brother Shawn, 50, wrote, produced and starred in the flick as two black FBI agents who go undercover as two quintessential rich, white women during a weekend in the Hamptons.

“I think ‘White Chicks 2’ is necessary,” the leading man of the new Aretha Franklin biopic “Respect” told Variety. “I think we’ve tightened up so much that we need to loosen our ties a bit and laugh a little bit.”

“I don’t think Hollywood understands what a juggernaut ‘White Chicks 2’ would be,” Wayans continued. “And the world just keeps giving us more. ‘White Chicks 2’ is writing itself.” The Columbia Pictures film was made for a budget of $37 million and grossed more than $113 million at the box office.

Earlier this year, Wayans admitted that socialites Paris and Nicky Hilton were the obvious inspiration behind his “White Chicks” characters. The heiresses recently told The Post that they would be open to appearing in a possible sequel.

“I’m not thinking of what I would want to do in the film, they know exactly what they’re doing,” Paris, 40, told The Post. Nicky, 37, then chimed in, “I do not have any personal ideas for our cameo in Part 2 but I will leave it to the professionals.”

The “Cooking With Paris” host called the flick “hilarious” and admitted she’s laughed about it over the years. “I think that imitation is the highest form of flattery,” she said.

“I thought the movie was hilarious just seeing them playing inspirations of us. I was just with Marlon last week, and every time I look at him I think of ‘White Chicks.’ I thought the movie was so genius and hilarious. It was laugh-out-loud funny 2000 humor. I always want to laugh at myself and have fun, so I didn’t mind,” Paris said.

The Nicholai fashion designer then applauded the Wayans brothers for getting certain details of their lives correct. “I think it was a very caricaturized version of us, but they definitely got some of the brands down,” said Nicky. “The Dior logo stuff, the Juicy Couture, ‘Dude, where’s my couture?’ shirt. So they definitely took inspiration from my wardrobe that is for sure. They did their homework.”

Wayans hits theaters in “Respect,” opposite Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson as the Queen of Soul, on Friday, August 13.
