Two men were shot — one fatally — in the Bronx Sunday afternoon, police said.
The gunfire erupted at East 149th Street and Brook Avenue in the South Bronx around 1 p.m., leaving a 43-year-old man blasted twice in the back and another man of the same age shot in the left leg, cops said.
The man who was shot in the back was rushed to Lincoln Hospital but couldn’t be saved. The other victim was in stable condition, cops said.
Investigators found two shell casings and one bullet fragment, police sources said.
There were no immediate arrests.
