NYPD precincts accepting donations for victims of Haiti earthquake

All of the NYPD’s police precincts are collecting donations for the victims of the weekend earthquake in Haiti that killed nearly 1,300 people and left thousands more homeless.

The Police Department on Monday posted on Twitter that it will accept donations of medical supplies, personal-hygiene items, non-perishable food, baby food and flashlights for the island nation.

The NYPD said New Yorkers can drop off donations at any one of the city’s precincts to help in relief efforts.
