Bullet pierces glass at Harry Potter flagship store in NYC
A bullet pierced the glass of the Harry Potter flagship store in Manhattan early Friday, cops said.
An overnight security worker was inside the store on Broadway near East 22nd Street near the Flatiron Building minutes before 3 a.m. when he heard a sound coming from the rear, police said.
He spotted a man wearing a light-colored t-shirt pressed up against the back door, who then said, “What’s up now?” according to authorities.
Someone in a ski mask then fired a shot toward the man against the door, cops said. The shooter may have driven up to the scene in a Mercedes, authorities said.
No one was hurt — but the shot pierced the glass and flew into the shop, police said.
No arrests have been made.
