The Knicks have added another guard for training camp
Former Florida State guard M.J. Walker has agreed to a contract, the Knicks announced Friday. The 6-foot-5 Walker played with the Knicks in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas and averaged 4.7 points and 2.7 rebounds. Details of the deal are uncertain.
Walker went undrafted after being a second team All-ACC selection as a senior at Florida State. He averaged 12.2 points per game, 2.5 assists and 2.5 rebounds in 24 contests for the Seminoles while shooting 42.3 percent from 3-point range.
The addition of Walker leaves the Knicks with just one roster spot open for training camp.
