Man beats woman with metal stick on Brooklyn subway platform
A man wielding a metal stick bludgeoned a 58-year-old woman on a Brooklyn subway platform, police said Saturday.
The attack happened Friday at 8:30 a.m. on the northbound platform of the Church Avenue G train station in Kensington, police said.
The victim was waiting for the train when the fiend came up to her and bashed her with the stick multiple times in the head, leg and arm, according to the NYPD.
The battered straphanger was taken to Methodist Hospital and treated for bruises and pain, cops said.
Police released security video of the middle-aged suspect, who was wearing a black t-shirt with an egg and bacon image and multi colored shorts during the apparently unprovoked beating. He remained at large.
