Video shows gunman who allegedly shot teen, innocent cabbie in NYC
Cops released surveillance footage of the gunman who allegedly shot a 15-year-old boy — and struck an innocent cabbie with a stray bullet in Harlem — leaving both in critical condition over the weekend.
The suspect was sitting in the back seat of a vehicle at West 131st Street and Eighth Avenue around 9:45 p.m. Saturday when the teen approached and got into an argument with him, cops said.
The gunman opened fire multiple times, striking the teen in the torso.
The teen, who had a gun on him at the time and tossed it onto the sidewalk, was taken to Mount Sinai Morningside in critical condition.
A stray bullet struck a livery cab driver nearby, police said.
He was taken to the same hospital, where he is also clinging to life.
A woman and a child were in the cab, but were uninjured, police sources said Saturday.
Footage released late Sunday shows the suspect, wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt and pants, inside a grocery store or bodega.
