A man visiting a gunshot victim at a Bronx hospital was arrested after he allegedly bragged that he was packing heat during a livestream from the room, officials and sources said.
Damien Burdette allegedly made the airheaded admission at St. Barnabas Hospital on Monday at about 5:20 p.m. while visiting a pal who was shot a day earlier on Southern Boulevard, according to a criminal complaint and sources.
A viewer of his livestream called cops and responding officers busted him in the room.
Police said they found a loaded silver handgun tucked in Burdette’s underwear, according to the criminal complaint.
Burdette, who was also shot last April in the Bronx, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a firearm.
Prosecutors at his arraignment asked that he be held on $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.
The judge set Burdette’s bail at $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
