Man kicks woman down escalator in Brooklyn subway station: video
A man kicked a woman in the chest, sending her flying down an escalator, after she told him to “say ‘excuse me’ ” in a Brooklyn subway station, according to cops and newly released video.
The 32-year-old victim and the male suspect were ascending an escalator at the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center station at 7:15 p.m. Thursday when the man pushed past her, police said.
“Say ‘excuse me’,” the woman told the man, according to authorities.
He allegedly shot back, “I did” — then spun around and kicked the woman in the chest, sending her tumbling backward several feet down the escalator, according to the clip released late Sunday.
Another person was going up the escalator right next to the victim at the time of the attack, and a few other people were on the other side, going down, the video shows.
The victim refused medical attention for cuts and bruises on her back, arms, legs, right knee and right thigh and trauma to her left ankle, cops said.
Cops are still looking for the suspect.
