The Wildcat returns for his 25th season in The Post. Including the 1997-2020 seasons in the Bettor’s Guide, Cat’s record in print stands at 652-561 (53.8 percent) against the spread.
LOS ANGELES RAMS (+1) over Tampa Bay Buccaneers
This high-profile clash matches quality undefeated teams. Tom Brady remains an extremely tough out (no kidding!), but Matthew Stafford has settled seamlessly into the driver’s seat for these defensively imposing Rams.
This may just be a business trip to the Left Coast for TB, but it’s hard to resist this pup, especially given newcomer Stafford’s broad skill-set and impressive seasonal start. Good for Ewe! Rams, for one unit.
Seattle Seahawks (-1.5) over MINNESOTA VIKINGS
Minnesota returns home after losing to the Bengals and Cardinals on the road, but Kirk Cousins (from the school of Very Good) remains up against it versus the Super Bowl-winning uber-athletic Russell Wilson. Aside from the Packers, the NFC North has been a marked underperformer for far too long. ’Hawks soldier on, for one unit.
Last week: 2-0. Raiders (W), Cowboys (W).
2021 season: 4-0.
