A makeup artist from Utah proved that mastering art comes from the heart.
Gabe Adams-Wheatley was born in Sao Paolo with Hanhart syndrome, a rare genetic condition often characterized by missing limbs.
Adams-Wheatley lives life without his arms and legs, but recently went viral on TikTok for showing his incredible ability to do makeup.
The beauty expert, who was adopted by an American family when he was young and now lives with his husband, boasts 2 million followers on the social media platform, and his videos have earned a combined total of 58 million likes.
In one of his latest makeup tutorials, Adams-Wheatley paints a full glam face, complete with an extravagant smoky-eye look and a set of full lashes.
The video shows him using various products he’s laid out on a table level with his face and nestling into them, as with a concealer wand he’s propped upright that he leans the corners of his eyes into. The craftsman then bobs his face into a Beauty Blender on the table, and does further work using makeup brushes he’s clamped between his shoulder and the table edge.
Viewers are stunned by of Adams-Wheatley’s ability to rock makeup lewks and his skills to make them happen without the use of essential body parts. “You make putting lashes on look so easy😭 it takes me so long to do it,” one user commented.
“You are absolutely amazing! You truly are the representation of NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE! I can’t tell you how [in] awe I was of your video because you are every damn thing! Just so talented & I hope to see you slay more & more ❤️,” another fan gushed.
A fan added, “🙌Amazing, genuinely you do it vastly better than I do with 2 hands. Such skill!”
