Patriots rookie quarterback Mac Jones was a star long before he entered the league.
“I used to be a child model/actor, or whatever, and that was fun… I broke the camera.” Jones said Monday on WEEI 93.7’s “Merloni & Fauria” show when asked about his “worst” job.
“There are a few commercials out there you guys could try and find. I think a lot of people know.”
It’s unclear what brand Jones actually modeled for as a kid, but old photos have since made their way around the internet.
As for the commercials featuring Jones? Well, those videos have not yet surfaced as of Tuesday.
Beyond mugging it up for the camera, the 23-year-old said Monday this his first-ever job was doing yard work for his father.
“At first, I’d do it for free. Eventually, me and my brother scheming him up for money,” Jones recalled.
Although his modeling career was short-lived, Jones’ future in football looks bright. Jones and the Patriots are on a four-game winning streak following Sunday’s victory over the Browns, 45-7.
Jones, the 15th overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft, threw three touchdown passes and completed 19 of 23 attempts for 198 yards.
The University of Alabama product currently leads his fellow rookie quarterbacks in passing yards (2,333), and has 13 touchdowns in 10 games.
The Patriots (6-4) will visit the Falcons (4-5) in Atlanta on Thursday night.
