Add chef to Trevor Lawrence’s résumé.
On Monday, the Jaguars quarterback got to work in the kitchen while wife Marissa watched from the island nearby with a glass of wine.
“Chef @tlawrence16,” she posted to her Instagram Story. “(The hair is up it’s getting serious).”
Marissa added in a separate story that fried chicken sandwiches and Brussel sprouts were on the menu.
Lawrence and the Jaguars dropped to 2-7 on the season following Sunday’s loss to the Colts. The rookie quarterback completed 16 of 35 attempts for 162 yards with zero touchdowns and no interceptions.
The Jaguars will face the 49ers (4-5), who are coming off a major “Monday Night Football” win against the Rams, this coming weekend in Jacksonville.
Marissa, who just turned 22, will likely be in attendance for Sunday’s game, as she celebrated Lawrence, also 22, and the Jaguars’ last victory at home earlier this month.
“A JAGS WIN 💙 I love this city & this team (especially 16),” Marissa posted to Instagram at the time.
It’s been a memorable few months for the Lawrences. Not only did they tie the knot in early April, but a few short weeks later, the Clemson product went first overall in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Lawrence has logged eight touchdowns and nine interceptions so far this season.
