The Seahawks gave Ciara something to dance about on Sunday night.
After the Seahawks defeated the 49ers, 30-23, Ciara posted a celebratory video on Instagram that featured quarterback Russell Wilson’s family showcasing their post-victory moves.
“Hawks Win! Proud of you honey @DangeRussWilson#3,” the 36-year-old singer captioned the video as her kids danced in their No. 3 Seahawks jerseys.
Wilson completed 30 of 37 attempts for 231 yards on Sunday, along with two touchdowns and one interception. The Seahawks ended their three-game losing streak and improved to 4-8 in what’s been a challenging season in Seattle.
“It feels good to win,” Wilson said postgame with a smile. “We had a great week of practice this week, we were all dialed in. We stayed zoned-in on what the task was. Nobody blinked, and I think that’s why we were able to win this game.”
Wilson, who is in his 10th season with the Seahawks, suffered a finger injury after Seattle’s Week 5 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. The 33-year-old quarterback returned in Week 10 when the Seahawks were shut out against the Packers, 17-0, in Green Bay.
Amid a difficult year, however, Wilson has been able to count on his biggest cheerleader, wife Ciara.
Ahead of the Seahawks’ Week 12 loss to the Washington Football Team, Ciara — who has been married to Wilson since 2016 — posted a glowing birthday tribute to the quarterback.
“Thankful to God for blessing me to go on this great journey called Life with you. You are everything to me. My Beautiful Birthday Boy I love you sooooo much!” Ciara wrote on Instagram in late November. “Happy Birthday Honey. #JesusYear.”
Wilson and Ciara share two children, daughter Sienna Princess, 4, and son Win Harrison, 1. The singer also has a 7-year-old son, Future Zahir, with her ex, rapper Future.
