Shocking video shows moment 4 men are shot on Harlem street
New video captures the moment a gunman opened fire on a Harlem street early this month — wounding four other men as they scrambled to get away.
The footage, released Monday night, shows the shooter letting off a few rounds on Malcolm X Boulevard near West 141st Street around 8:15 p.m. Nov. 15, as a group of men gathered on the steps in front of a corner store.
As soon as the shots rang out, the men outside were shown either running off or crawling into the store.
One of the men could be seen falling to the ground on the steps.
A 23-year-old man was blasted in his right leg, a 21-year-old man was shot in his right buttocks, and two 22-year-old men were also shot — one in the right leg and the other in the left arm, cops said.
The oldest victim and the two 22-year-olds went to Harlem Hospital in stable condition.
The younger man was taken to Mount Sinai Morningside, also in stable condition.
The victims were known to hang out at that corner, cops said.
The motive for the shooting was unclear Tuesday morning.
