A 42-year-old man died after he was stabbed in the leg in front of a Bronx deli this week, cops said Thursday.
John Alicea was arguing with another man outside the bodega on East 174th Street near Southern Boulevard — steps from the 174th Street 2 and 4 above-ground train station — around 5:20 a.m. Wednesday when his rival knifed him in the left thigh, police said.
Alicea — who lived about three blocks from the scene — was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made.
It was unclear whether either Alicea or the suspect had been in the train station prior to the incident.
