Crops and no tops: These farmers bare it all for cheeky calendar
Saucy farmers have flung off their clothes and posed naked to feed cows topless and straddle tractors for a very revealing calendar.
Cheeky snaps show young farmhands in Scotland tending to animals and wielding machinery – all in their birthday suits.
Volunteers aged between 20 and 27 stripped off at farms across the Lothians to raise money for a mental health charity, covering themselves with just saddles and seed bags.
The raunchy calendar was organized by the Lothian and Peeblesshire Young Farmers Club in Scotland and cash will go to the RSABI, which supports those who make their livelihoods on land.
Club secretary Kirsty Barr said the farmers had “great fun” shooting the calendar as they squashed their nerves to get naked.
“The chairman, William Brown, and I came up with the idea in January after watching a club in the neighboring district do one,” the 22-year-old said, reports the Daily Star.
“We thought it looked like good fun and a good opportunity to raise money.
“We struggled at first to get people to take part, however once we had a few models interested then more came along and got involved.
“Everyone was nervous at first but once we started it was great fun because the photographer made you feel so comfortable and you were generally doing it with friends.”
From June to October, the revealing pictures were taken at a number of farms across the Lothians – and 80 percent of funds raised from the £12 calendars will go to RSABI.
The rest will go towards helping run events for young farmers.
“RSABI is a charity close to the district’s heart, as they do a lot of work to do with mental health problems within the rural community,” Kirsty, from Edinburgh, added.
“We have seen members and past members suffer from mental health issues during our time in the club, and some have lost their lives to depression.
“That is why we want to support them as much as possible.”
