Two women shove, rob 75-year-old victim on NYC sidewalk
Two women assaulted and robbed a 75-year-old woman on a Manhattan sidewalk on Tuesday night, police said.
The suspects first grabbed the elderly victim and shoved her to the ground outside an apartment building on East 38th Street near First Avenue in Murray Hill at about 11:20 p.m., according to the NYPD.
As the victim was down, according to cops, the robbers stole her $800 Gucci belt bag, iPhone, AirPods, bank cards and $10 cash.
Police said the victim was not injured in the attack.
About an hour later, the suspects were caught-on-camera using one of the victim’s bank cards to make a purchase at a bodega on First Avenue near East 92nd Street, authorities said.
The women were still at large as of late Thursday.
