A blockbuster NBA trade has come two days before the deadline.
The Pacers are trading two-time All-Star Domantas Sabonis, Jeremy Lamb and Justin Holiday to Sacramento for Tyrese Haliburton, Buddy Hield and Tristan Thompson, ESPN reported Tuesday.
The blockbuster deal came a day after Indiana traded away forward Caris LeVert and a 2022 second-round pick (via Miami) in exchange for guard Ricky Rubio, a lottery-protected 2022 first-round pick, 2022 second-round pick (via Houston) and 2027 second-round pick (via Utah).
LeVert, a former Net, averaged 18.7 points and 4.4 rebounds for the Pacers this season after returning last year from renal cell carcinoma.
The Pacers’ roster shakeup also came after Bleacher Report said Tuesday that Sacramento was interested in Pacers forward Myles Turner.
The NBA trade deadline ends Thursday at 3 p.m. ET.
