A female NYPD cop has been placed on modified duty as authorities probe whether she has any connection to the “Shooting Boys” gang, police sources confirmed to The Post.
The officer, whom The Post is not naming, is assigned to the Bronx’s 52nd Precinct, where she works on the precinct’s public safety team, sources said.
Ten of the alleged members of the gang were indicted Thursday on racketeering, firearms, narcotics and murder charges as part of a local and federal takedown, according to officials.
The officer has not been charged with a crime.
The NYPD did not respond to a request for comment.
