It seems the Arizona Cardinals’ youngest fan will be making their debut just in time for football season.
Cardinals defensive end JJ Watt announced Thursday that he and wife Kealia Ohai are expecting their first child together, sharing a collection of photos from their maternity shoot on social media.
“Could not be more excited,” Watt, 33, exclaimed on Instagram, while Ohai — who plays for the Chicago Red Stars soccer team — appeared to reveal her due date of October 2022.
First linked in 2016, Watt proposed to Ohai, 30, three years later. Once he popped the question, the five-time Pro Bowler flew Ohai’s friends and family to Houston — where he was playing for the Texans at the time — to celebrate.
“Can’t explain how thankful and happy I am feeling. JJ surprised me by flying in my family and best friends to celebrate our engagement. I was so excited and shocked all I could do was cry. Thank you so much @jjwatt I am the luckiest girl in the world and will never ever forget this special day. I love you all so much,” Ohai gushed on Instagram at the time.
The couple made their union official in February 2020, when they tied the knot in the Bahamas.
“Best day of my life. Without question,” he gushed on social media.
Watt is the older brother of Steelers linebacker TJ Watt, the reigning defensive player of the year, and fullback Derek Watt, who also plays for Pittsburgh.
He was in Las Vegas on Wednesday, when he took part in a press conference for “The Match” golf event with fellow dad-to-be Patrick Mahomes, who announced Sunday that he’s expecting his second child with wife Brittany Matthews.
