The weekend got off to a deadly start as two people were fatally gunned down in separate shootings across the city overnight, police said.
In the latest deadly incident, a 21-year-old man was shot Saturday morning in the Bronx, cops said.
The victim, Delijah Farmer, was struck in the torso in the vicinity of Tremont Park on Arthur Avenue and East 175th Street, police said.
Cops responding to a 911 call found the fatally wounded man Bronx man at 3:20 a.m.
EMS transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said. There are no arrests.
On Friday night in Brooklyn, a 25-year-old died after being shot in Canarsie, cops said.
Police responding to a 911 call of a person shot in front of 712 East 108th St., within the grounds of the Breukelen Houses, found the victim, Isaiah Bowman, of Brooklyn, lying on the sidewalk, unconscious with gunshot wound to his torso.
EMS transported Bowman to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. There are no arrests.
