Robbers make it rain cash on a Chilean highway during police chase

A gambling hall robbery near Chile’s capital of Santiago ended with the thieves throwing a bag of money out onto the highway, showering the roadway with cash.

Surveillance video shows the suspects tossing a dark bag from a blue Chevrolet Sail barreling down the highway as they were tailed by cops in hot pursuit following the robbery in a gambling hall in the city of Pudahuel.

One of the police vehicles can be seen running over the bag in the heat of the chase, ripping it open and blanketing the lanes with Chilean pesos.
