Tyler Roenz charged with murder of mom found in trunk following Nebraska police chase

A Texas teen was charged with killing his mother, who was found strangled to death in the trunk of the car he was driving in Nebraska, days after the two went missing.

Tyler Roenz, 17, of Humble, Texas, was charged as an adult with murder and tampering with evidence in the death and disappearance of his mother, 49-year-old Michelle Roenz, reported Fox News Friday

Roenz’s husband reported his wife and son missing – along with his 2011 Mazda – to the Harris County Sheriff on Oct. 13. Local authorities uncovered blood and what appeared to be human teeth in the garage of the family’s home, Fox Houston reported.
