The Ravens travel to Tampa Bay to face the struggling Buccaneers on Amazon Prime’s “Thursday Night Football” tonight. Baltimore opened as a 1-point underdog, was quickly bet up to a slight road favorite, and now is an underdog yet again. The total was bet up to 46.5 on FanDuel.
The game kicks off at 8:15 p.m. ET tonight as the 2022 NFL season approaches the halfway mark.
The Buccaneers continue to be way overvalued in the betting market, but how much longer does “They have Tom Brady” hold water? Tampa Bay hit rock bottom last week when it lost to Carolina as a 13-point favorite. And while fading the Bucs on the spread has been profitable (0-5 ATS in their last five games), there is even more value on the totals.

Everyone keeps waiting for this offense to wake up but the bottom line is Tampa Bay has a 45-year-old quarterback playing behind a retooled offensive line. One of the big stories during the offseason was Buccaneers replacing three quality offensive linemen but the national media didn’t care. Why? Because Tampa Bay has Tom Brady.
Tampa Bay is 6-1 to the Under through the first seven games. Meanwhile, the Ravens’ offense has also been struggling. Baltimore has gone under the total in four straight games with Lamar Jackson and Co. averaging 20.5 points during that span.
On paper, when fans see Jackson versus Brady, they expect fireworks. However, neither of these teams is making big plays on the offensive side of the football. Because of that, I think we will see another prime-time Under.
