Paulina Gretzky, Jena Sims give intimate look at LIV Golf party in Miami
Paulina Gretzky and Jena Sims are kicking off LIV Golf’s Miami tournament in style.
Taking to their Instagram Stories on Wednesday, Gretzky and Sims, the wives of golfers Dustin Johnson and Brooks Koepka, respectively, gave fans a peek at the tour’s welcome party at LIV Miami before this weekend’s tournament.
“LIV at LIV, who’d a thought,” the 33-year-old Sims quipped in an Instagram Story.
For the bash, Sims — who wed Koepka, 32, over the summer in a lavish destination wedding — rocked a green and black Camila Coelho mini dress that boasted a plunging neckline. She paired the daring look with black, knee-high boots.
Later in the night, Sims posed for photos with her gal pals and Koepka, the captain of LIV Golf’s Smash GC team.
Koepka, a four-time major champion, claimed his first win on the Saudi-backed tour earlier this month when he defeated pal Peter Uihlein in a playoff victory.
“The last two years haven’t been fun. It’s been a long road,” Koepka said per the Associated Press. “I didn’t know if my career was over for a half-second. So it’s nice to be able to come back and be able to win.”
Koepka defected to LIV Golf in June, the same month he married Sims in Turks and Caicos.
Elsewhere at the party, Gretzky, 33, supported Johnson, 38, who is the captain of LIV Golf’s 4 Aces GC squad.
In a photo shared on her Instagram Story, Gretzky — the daughter of hockey legend Wayne Gretzky — is seen posing beside BFF Kristina Melnichenko, both clad in black ensembles.
Johnson, who resigned from the PGA Tour this past spring, nabbed the LIV Golf Invitational season-long individual title in early October, a nod worth an $18 million bonus, according to Sports Illustrated.
The past year has been filled with numerous life changes for Johnson. The former Masters champion also married Gretzky in April. The longtime couple, who got engaged in 2013, wed in Tennessee, where they were joined by friends and family, including sons Tatum, 7, and River, 5.
LIV Golf’s season-ending team championship gets underway Friday at Trump National Doral Golf Club.
