I’m 31 but people mistake me for a teen and think my fiancé is my dad

She’s 31 going on 13.

New York beauty influencer Isabelle Lux revealed that despite being 31, she still gets carded at bars because her beauty regimen keeps her looking like she’s in her teens, reports the Sun.

Lux — whose Instagram boasts nearly 7,000 followers — said that several people online have said she looks like she’s in her 20s.

“In person, people often think I’m a full decade younger than I am,” said Lux.

“I was really shocked to see that a few comments mistook my fiancé (1.5 years older than me) for my father.”

According to the 31-year-old, she has to dress up when she and her fiancé go out.

“When I’m out, if I’m dressed down I’ll be ID-ed often so I actually try to dress really well if I’m going out so my clothing can speak to my actual age a bit more,” said Lux.

The influencer said that the secret to looking young comes down to a strict skincare routine as well as certain lifestyle choices.

“I definitely didn’t always look younger than my age — a serious skincare routine can work wonders,” admitted Lux. “Lifestyle choices have also made a huge difference, from stopping sun-tanning and drinking alcohol regularly to being at a healthy weight.

“I drank a lot throughout my 20s and I didn’t realize what a huge impact it has on your skin and appearance until I (mostly) stopped,” she added. “Now I’ll have a glass of wine every two weeks with friends or family.”

Lux said her top five age-reversing tips include:

  • Getting high-quality sleep and sleeping on your back to avoid wrinkles
  • Drinking lots of water to stay hydrated
  • Avoiding drinking and smoking
  • Wearing SPF daily and avoiding the sun
  • Not overdoing any one thing (masks, retinol, acid etc.)
