Five months before they listed their longtime California pad, Houston Astros pitcher Justin Verlander and his supermodel wife Kate Upton purchased a Florida home $550,000 above its ask — for $6.55 million.
In May, the pair sold their Beverly Hills home they bought in 2016 for $5.25 million to actor Timothée Chalamet — for $11 million.
Their new pad, located in Jupiter, is about 1,000 square feet smaller, spanning some 4,600 square feet and is nestled along the waters of the Loxahatchee River.
Custom-built in 2015, the home sits on 1.25 acres of land and features panoramic water views.
Perks include hurricane-rated impact windows and doors.
The primary suite is located on the first floor and comes with a spa-inspired bathroom with an oversize frameless glass shower, a free-standing tub and granite vanity tops.
Each guest suite comes with with a walk-in closet and ensuite baths.
Outdoor features include a summer kitchen, a grand covered patio with motorized phantom screens, and a heated pool and spa with fiber optic lighting, the previous listing notes. It also comes with a putting green, two jet skit lifts and a boat lift.
