Mom blasted for taking her son to Hooters for his 5th birthday
This kid’s birthday was anything but a bust.
Parents of a 5-year-old are at the eye of a social media shade storm after taking their tot to Hooters on his big day.
And while the giddy little boy — in a viral TikTok video with over 6.9 million views — is seen smiling ear to ear while flanked by a band of vivacious waitresses singing “happy birthday,” digital detractors in the post’s comments section angrily fired off jeers at his mother and father for “forcing sexualized stuff” on him.
“Who TF is taking their child to Hooters [especially] on his birthday,” questioned an outraged onlooker.
“Bro, he’s five. What’s he doing in Hooters? Great mom and dad,” asked another annoyed audience member, who added the eye-rolling emoji to emphasize their discontent.

“So you took him to a t – – ty restaurant? So much for protect the children,” another judged.
In the controversial clip, several Hooters staff members — outfitted in the fired chicken chain’s regulation clinging booty shorts and low-cut shirts — dressed the birthday boy up like a bird, giving him a faux beak made out of paper products and two serving trays for wings.
The doting women then invited the entire restaurant to join them in a remixed birthday chant while the boy flapped his arms along to the beat.

And despite the many waggish responses from haters, a number of folks online approved of the child’s Hooters hootenanny.
“This is so adorable. A memory he will never forget,” said a supporter.
“Little buddie is living the dream,” hooted another.
Others joked that the tyke’s saucy celebration had transformed him from a boy into a man.
“The day little Tommy did not want to play video games no more,” penned a commenter — to which the kid’s mother inked a string of laughing emojis.
